The WEL Learning Center
At the WEL Learning Center, we provide clinical and management training for our employees. Our Staff Development Team provides educational and training support including: medication administration, care giving, CPR, first aid, dementia care, diabetes care, IV training, and LEAP—a program that promotes staff-resident relationships through a model of person-centered care.
Our employees are granted access to WEL University 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Through this web- based platform, employees can access over 800 accredited online courses for continuing education, in-service training, leadership development, and more! Employees can take as many courses as they like and enjoy immediate access to exam results, as well as receive CE and in-service certificates.
Continuing Professional Education Seminars
Several times a year, Wesley Enhanced Living hosts continuing education professional education seminars for our employees and professionals throughout the Philadelphia metropolitan area who work in nursing, case management, discharge planning, and long-term care. Seminars typically award two contact hours and include topics such as Veteran’s Benefits, Advance Directives, and Understanding Dementia.
